About Winter 2024 Peace Camp

Times: 9 am to 3 pm
Where: Gather Community Space at the First Presbyterian Church on South Franklin Street in Wilkes-Barre.
Who: Children entering first grade through eighth grade in September 2023 are eligible for Peace Camp 2024.
Registration fee: $25 per child, with scholarships available for families with multiple children attending camp and for those in need of assistance.
What: Peace Camp activities include the following:
- Peer Mediation and Community-Building Skills
- Communication Strategies
- Games for a Healthy Body, Mind, and Spirit
- Yoga ~ Meditation ~ Music Making
- Arts and Crafts Projects
For most activities, children will be divided into age groups (K through 3rd grade and 4th through 8th grade). Space is limited to 20 children in each group.
